Carmen Ladouceur

Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the age of 90. Cherished mother of André Couturier and Anne-Marie Couturier (Pierre Goulart). Loving grandmother of: Christine Longval, Caroline Couturier (Daniel Robinson) and Marc-Andre Couturier. Very proud great grand-mother of Samuel Robinson. Predeceased by her parents Toussaint Ladouceur and Juliette Banville, her brother Henri (Ramona), her first husband (René Couturier) and second husband (René Guay). She leaves behind many nephews, nieces and cousins.  She will be affectionately remembered by family and countless friends, many of whom called her “Mémé”.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 24, at 10:00 a.m.  at “LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS”, located at 95 blvd. Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau QC (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences beginning at 9:30 a.m.

For those who wish to do so, donations would be appreciated to “La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie foundation” in support of palliative care.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Hull Hospital for their provision of care.

My deepest condolences to you. I just learned of the passing of your wonderful mother. I always remember her as a kind and generous person during the six years years my family lived next door to you at 66 Calais street from 1962-1968. I wish you strength and peace. My own sister, Suzanne, passed away suddenly in 2015, and so I know how hard it is to bear such loss. God bless you.
