Rebeca

Rebeca,

My heartfelt condolences to you and the family. I knew Denis mostly through fellowship and days in the word. I remember his constant smile and his love of a good laugh.

Most of all though, I remember his great love of God and His word. He would seldom miss an opportunity to speak the word to anyone who had an ear to hear, and he loved to teach it. It is sad that he has gone to rest because the world can ill afford to loose such devoted and loving men.

It is a great comfort to know that, according God's precious promise, we will see Denis again and be with him and his ever present smile for eternity.

Adain, my condolences.

God bless you with peace and have great comfort in His word.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to Rebeca and her family for the loss of Denis at such a young age. The loss of a loved one is always challenging but it seems so unfair to have to say goodbye so early sometimes. My thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times.

Attristé d'apprendre le départ de Denis, un ancien collègue à l' Institut linguistique du collège de Jonquière , campus Ottawa. Ce monsieur sympathique et énergique savait animer son milieu de travail par sa bonne humeur! REP , Denis !

Rebeca. On behalf of myself and Joanie, we are so very sorry to learn of your Husband's passing. While aware that he was having health issues, due to respecting your privacy, we were unaware of the seriousness of the situation. Our heart goes out to you. It's just unfathomable how you have been managing over the course of the past few months while juggling care for your Husband and work, at which you were always pleasant and functional. Your attitude and ability to cope have been amazing. Now we hope you take the time you need to grieve and heal. Know that we are thinking of you and that we are always there to help support you in any way we are able. Again, we offer our sincerest condolences. xoxo

Rebecca Assad and family

As you know, Denis was a wonderful, passionate Believer. We first met him and heard him teach at one of our Family Camps in Doubling Gap PA years ago. We still remember the teaching, Jesus Christ being raised from the dead. Even though we had heard it many times before, he made the truth of it so passionately that we never forgot the importance of what God did for all of us. Denis' life was a tribute to God and the body of Christ and we will miss that beautiful smile. We pray for you Rebecca and the rest of your family. We are thankful that eternity is always right around the corner!

Love you, Cathy and Mike Sversko (Harrisburg, PA)

Our prayers are with you Rebeca and your family at this time of sadness.

We will miss Denis's warm smile, his quick wit, and readiness to make a joke. His passion for the things of God and zest for life inspired us. We look forward to seeing him again at the Return of Jesus Christ.

With much love,

Rebeca

Rebeca, so many years, over 30 since we last saw each other, you and I, and Denis and I. So very sad to hear of Denis' falling asleep. We were in the same L.E.A.D. group one year, and as was always his way, such a God-loving man, and gentle to God's people. We enjoyed his wit and his passion for life. May the years continue to be sweeter as they draw nearer to the Return of Christ, and closer to spending eternity with our beloved Father, God, brother, Jesus Christ, and all of our loved ones, who will be awakened at His Return and Gathering Together. With much affection and sweet memories of you both, Anita Intriago-Farwell, Iowa, U.S.A.
