It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jean-Claude Lavoie on July 23, 2017, at the age of 70.

Beloved husband of Isabelle Trudel Lavoie, he leaves behind his children: Jean (Maria), Christianne, André (Kari), Mathieu and his daughter Sarah; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers and sisters: Ginette (Jacques), Denis (Thérèse), Pierre (Sylvie), Luc (Ginette), Suzanne (François), Lucie (Pierre), Cécile (Serge), Anne (René), Diane (Marc), Nicole (Allen), Hélène (François), Jacques (Grace), Jacqueline (Claude), Lyne (Daniel); his sister-in-law Claire (Yvon), his brothers-in-law: André (Lise), Simon (Pyllis), Claude and Marc as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Huguette Pharand and Gaston Lavoie, by his brother Yvon and his sister Lise.

The celebration of prayers will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm . The family will receive condolences as of 1:30 pm .

The family wishes to thank Maurice Curé and his daughter Elizabeth, Sylvie and Jacques Malboeuf-Lecombe, their wonderful neighbours, for their support as well at the 6th and 7th floor staff of the Hull Hospital for the good care provided to him.
