It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Sonia Chouinard (née Landry) onJune 13th, 2017 at the CHVO-Hull, at the age of 73.

Pre-deceased by her parents Rose (Jobin) and Eugene Landry and her husband Gilles Chouinard (2004). She leaves behind her loved children Julie (Robert Pilipchuk), Bruno and her very special nephew Don Cright (Vanessa). She also leaves behind her adored grand-sons, Jason (Emma) and Kevin Pilipchuk who where the loves and light of her life and many parents and friends. She was also pre-deceased by her grand-daughter Jessica Pilipchuk (1990), her sister Réjeanne (2010) and her brother in law Ron Brisebois (2000).

  Julie and Bruno would like to thank Joanne Bélisle, our mother's best friend, for always supporting and encouraging her, but most of all for being there with us when she passed. Our mother was a giving and compassionate woman, who also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, who always put others needs before her own even at the end of her life for wich we are incredibly grateful. We also like to thank the staff of the CHVO-Hull (cardiology) for the greay care our mother receved over the week she was hospitalized.

The family invites you to celebrate her life on Monday, June 19th 2017 at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd in Hull, for a funeral service at 10 a.m.. The family will receive condolences at 9:30am..

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
