Jim and I are so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. May your family and friends bring you strength comfort during this time.

Although we cannot make the trip to Ottawa to be with you, please know that our thoughts and memories of times together are foremost in our minds. There were many occasion's when our families spent time together either in Halliburton at the cottage; Sand Banks Provincial Park or at your Mom and Dad's home. And, before you were around there were many high school parties where good times were had. You Mom was a kind, gentle soul and will be missed by many. Take care.

We are so sorry for your loss. Sue was a great friend for more than 35 years. We had lots of wonderful and crazy times together in the early years when we both had young families - shared meals, birthday celebrations and so much more. We were so happy when Sue and Paul found a great home in Aylmer, just up the street from where we were at the time. We were in awe of the work that she and Paul did to create Food For Thought - a book store that was so much more than that for so many authors and lovers of books in the area. Sue jumped in to look after our daughter, Rachael, when our caregiver had to leave the area. We were so grateful to her. Her knowledge and talent as a gardener was quite something. I expect Sue drew on her all the traits mentioned above when she became a day-care educator at South Hull - patience, kindness, joy and gentle strength - to do a wonderful job. She will be missed by so many.

We are shocked and saddened by Sue' death. We've only known Sue for a few years as a colleague at school...such a kind, caring soul...always a smile and kind words. She spoke of her family proudly and with love. Sue will be remembered fondly..she will be missed by many. Take care of yourselves as Sue would want you to.
