Wish to offer my condolences to the family. Leonie & I go back to the 70's when we worked together at the Marquis hotel. She was quite a character & funny lady. She will be missed.
Léonie Lozier-Fay
July 3, 1932 - December 10, 2018.
Léonie was born in Pointe-Gatineau Québec. Daughter of Edmond Lozier and Marie-Anne McLaughlin. Léonie was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Jean-Claude Légaré. Devoted mother of Johanne, Jean, Louis and Philippe. Loving grandmother of Simon (Isabelle Laporte), Catherine (Ryan Rask), Véronique (Louis-Charles David), Claude, Julien and Sophie. Proud great-grandmother of Alexis and Chloé Ménard; Lucas, Mylo and Samuel Rask. Léonie felt blessed later in life to marry D'Arcy Fay. They had 12 happy years, traveling the world together, until D'Arcy’s passing in 2004. Léonie will be missed by special cousin Clara McKinnon and her long-time friend Monique Barleben. Predeceased by her brothers Médard, Alexandre (Sandy) and her sister Linda. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 11h at the St-François-de-Sales church (799 Jacques-Cartier Street, Gatineau QC J8T 2W1). The family will receive condolences at 10h30. Many thanks to the staff and doctors at the CHSLD-Lionel-Emond (Foyer du Bonheur) who provided wonderful care to our mother.
