It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of

Cécile Pépin

She passed away on February 22, 2019, at the age of 88.

She was the loving mother of Sylvio (Judy),  Joanne (Guy) and Paul (Dawna), dear grandmother of Garett, Seldon, Katheryne and Alexandre and great-grandmother of Mikaela, Caleb and Teagan.  She will be missed by her sister Gertrude as well as by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

A special thank you to Micheline Loiselle for her friendship and loving support in the past years.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2 pm at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull sector).  Family will receive  condolences as of 1:30 pm

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Alzheimer Society of l’Outaouais would be appreciated.

Je vous offre mes sincères condoléances pour le décès de Cécile. J’aimais beaucoup votre maman et justement je pensais à elle ce soir. Je sais ce que vous éprouvez. J’ai perdu la mienne, Annette Desgroseillers, le 1er janvier. Je me souviens lorsque ma maman et la vôtre sortaient ensemble lorsqu’elles étaient sans époux il y a environ 35 ans ou plus. Que le temps passe vite. Elles s’appréciaient beaucoup. Bon courage! Carole

J'ai travaillé longtemps avec ta mère à la bibliothèque Morisset. Nous étions tous les deux dans la même pièce. Elle était une vrai inspiration. Je suis vraiment désolée de voir cette annonce ce matin. Je pensais souvent à elle.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous venons d'apprendre le décès de votre mère bien que nous comprenons que ce soit une délivrance pour elle et pour vous. Gaston l'attendra sûrement pour lui faire franchir les portes de l'au-delà.
