A heartfelt message of sincere sympathy from Therese.

Charles and Bernadette Maheux give birth to 14 children of which 12 survived.
For 74 years , we were truly blessed as none of us suffered any serious illness.
Me, being single for 36 years, I have lived in the homes of seven of my sisters and
learned that each had very different personalities. It didn't bother me at the time
as I always believed that I loved my siblings equally . We were so close that we didn't
need outside friends and were always there for each other. Did we fight ? sure,
did we forgive ? sure.
Now in 2019, after loosing 4 sisters and a brother I an truly amazed to experience
different levels of pain and grief for each of them. Because each of their
own unique personality, I grieve them differently . Some hurt more than others.
Some I can peacefully let go and gently remember them from time to time.
Others will haunt me forever.
My sister Jacueline who died this week will be one of those. Even though we were
7 years apart. we were very close . As a young working mother, I baby sat her babies
while she worked and I love those babies to this day.
Jackie and I went trough bad and good times together but never lost touch.

3 weeks ago we made plans to go buy burial plots together , we laughed about it because
we knew we were getting old, tired and sick all the time. Sadly , she passed away
before we could get there. She joked once saying ,' God help the last one of us who dies,
cause there won't be anybody there to pray over them ". Jackie had one hell of a sense of humor.
She told me she was willing her clothes to many sisters because she had many sizes.
She loved her dogs , she'd have jumped through a frozen lake to save one, I kid you not!
But more, she loved her children right down to her last grandchild.
Jackie was blessed with 3 most loving and caring children one could ever hope for.
Thank you Debbie , Linda, and Charlie for taking such good care of our sister.
She will never be forgotten, God bless , Aunt Therese.
