It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden peaceful passing of Patrick (Pat) Allison at Kirkland and District Hospital on Wednesday March 15, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving wife Anita and son Justin and family. Pat will be reunited with his loving son Shane and his precious grand dogs Zoey and Winston. Also predeceased by his parents Andrew and Ellen Allison, sisters Evelyn Freitag, Barbara, Lucy and Josephine Allison and brother-in-law Herman Freitag.
Pat is survived by his devoted wife Anita and loving son Justin and daughter-in-law Debra. Papa will be missed by his cherished granddaughters Stefany and Darian as well as his great grandchildren Jett and Bowie and his sister Lorna; In-laws Gary, Kath and John, Loretta and Denis, Bobby, David and Debbie. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Preston family who were always there for Uncle Pat.
Pat began his career at Heath & Sherwood (1964) Limited and moved on to his passion as firefighter at various levels of his career beginning from 1975 to his retirement as Fire Chief.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care Pat received in the Emergency Department, the Surgical Department and Intensive Care Unit at the Kirkland and District Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Visbal, Dr. Moore and Dr. Lubani
Join us in celebrating Papa with family and close friends at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, French Family Funeral Home on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory can be made to the Kirkland Lake Golf Course,
