1922 - 2024
Passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke. Her life left her body at 9:40 pm, the 12th of April 2024 at the young age of 101 years; just 59 days short of her 102nd birthday.
Berthe was the daughter of the late Joseph Bernier and the late Adelia Beland of Montreal. She leaves to mourn her children Kathleen Brooks, the late Deborah Campbell, David Campbell, Douglas Campbell, Audrey Lake, and Gary Campbell. She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Carleton Ottawa, Berthe spent most of her life in Montreal. After retirement at 65, she moved to Toronto, ON for 12 years, then to Calgary, AB for the next 12 years, finally returning to Quebec, first in Laval, then Sherbrooke. She lived in the Residence Soleil Manoir du Musée for two years then at St-Joseph for her remaining years.
The family wishes to thank the cleaning staff and cafeteria staff along with her many caring caregivers, and for the many wonderful volunteers at St-Joseph.
The interment will take place at the Cote-des-Neiges Cemetery in Montreal on June 13th, 2024 at 11:45 AM.

Mes sincères condoléances pour cette grande perte. Nos rencontres au Foyer St Joseph, presque quotidiennes, témoignent d'une grande affection d'un fils pour sa mère dont tu t'occupais admirablement bien.
