ERNEST FORS,
Ernest Fors passed away peacefully at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on December 5, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Despite a handicap, Ernest became a stationary engineer and worked for many years, first at Macassa Mines then at Ramore and finally at the Kirkland & District Hospital. He was known to be very knowledgeable about the mining industry and he could be found at Tim Horton’s twice a day indulging in his favourite pastime drinking coffee. Ernest was the son of Herman and Ester Fors. He will be sadly missed by his sister Elsie Lunn and her husband Bill; nephew Jim and nieces Nancy and Brenda as well as their children. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home (450 Government Rd. West Kirkland Lake, ON.) on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from the Ward Funeral Home “Oakville Chapel” (109 Reynolds St. Oakville, ON. 905-844-3221) on Saturday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in Ernest’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.Offer Condolence for the family of Ernest Fors
