EVELYNE FORTIER,
Passed away at Teck Pioneer Residence on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Evelyne is predeceased by her parents Lionel and Hosana (née Deloge) Daoust; her husband Walter and brothers Paul, Roger and Rolland. Lovingly remembered by Ray and Rose Vinette, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends in the Kirkland Lake area. Evelyne owned and operated a fabric boutique on Duncan for many years. She has also been a member of Interlink, Club 50+ and the Encore Club. Mrs. Fortier enjoyed her weekly visits to Teck Pioneer Residence until she became too ill to visit. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., 567-3565) Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Holy Name of Jesus Parish Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. with Father Wayne Mills Officiating. Donations in Evelyne’s memory may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children (555 University Avenue, Toronto, On., M5G 1X8), Lung Association (P.O. Box 1024, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) or to the Muscular Distrophy (901 – 2345 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON., M4P 2E5).
