It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lionel on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the age of 69 with his family by his side.

He is survived by his adoring son Ian (Caroline Gaudreault) and the mother of his son, Marlene Robinson. Dear brother of Brian (late Louise Fournier-Campeau), Brenda (Laird Burke), Christine (Michael Thibedeau), Maureen (Claude Lanois) and Caroline (Luc Boisvenue). He also leaves behind his many brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, his godchildren : Caroline and Jason Campeau and Maxime Robinson, and his many friends. Predeceased by his wife Danielle Labelle, his father and mother : Andre and Margaret Campeau, his father-in-law Leo Labelle, mother-in-law Viviane Lemaire and brother-in-law Bruno Labelle.

The service, in the presence of ashes, will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 boul. La Vérendrye West in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Les Diabétiques de l’Outaouais (331 boul. Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau QC J8Y 6T3) or The Heart and Stroke Foundation (1525 Carling Avenue, Ottawa ON K1Z 8R9) are appreciated by the family.

The family wishes to thank the angels on the 4^th floor of the Gatineau Hospital for the excellent care provided.
