MCKELVEY, Lyndon Leigh

1927 - 2023

Dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at the Magog Hospital on Wednesday, November 08, 2023. Born on September 04, 1927 to Donald and Roberta McKelvey in Cherry River. He was the eldest of six children.

Lyndon was married to Phyllis Buzzell (pre-deceased) and they had eight children. He is survived by his present wife Louise; his children Miles (Ella), Juanita, George, Randy (Nancy), Tom (Nancy), Annita (Gordon), Tim (Anne), Glen (Heidi), Donna (Murray), Cathy (Tim), Lorne (Debbie) and David (pre-deceased); his 26 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandson; his brother Stanley (Barbara) and sisters Eva (Roger pre-deceased), Ella May (Richard pre-deceased), Peggy and Margaret (pre-deceased) as well as many other family members and friends.

A special thank you goes to the dedicated staff at Manoir Stanstead for the six years he resided there. Also, a special thank you to the Magog Hospital doctors, nurses and staff for their care and compassion provided in his final days.

A funeral service will be announced at a later date.
