RUZICK, Martin James

1954 - 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Martin James Ruzick, who passed peacefully on January 27, 2023, at the age of 68. Martin is predeceased by his father, Martin Ruzick Sr. Martin is survived and will be remembered by his son, Dustin Ruzick; his devoted mother, Edna Ruzick (nee Renaud); his younger brothers, Darrell Ruzick and Tracy Ruzick; and his nephews, Jayson Ruzick and Jordan Ruzick.

Much like his father, Martin had a love for fixing things, which came out in his choice of careers. He was an automotive mechanic and a heavy equipment mechanic at Adams Mine for 16 years. In his earlier years, he had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his three-wheeler and snowmobile. Martin had a big heart, with a soft spot for his animals. He will be deeply missed by all of his little friends.

In keeping with Martin ‘s wishes, cremation has been arranged with Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative A memorial service in Martin’s memory will be announced by the family at a later date.

Martin’s family.

The Ruzich family were our good neighbours and friends in Kirkland Lake for countless golden years. Our habit was to chat and simply enjoy the moment together with the passing of time. Martin was a respectful son, a devoted father, loving brother, great uncle, and he loved and respected animals with unique love. It was a special privilege and joy to share life with Martin for our many years in Kirkland Lake. Until the next time, my friend.
