It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Faye Clement (nee Keegan) at the age of 70 at Blanche River Health Hospital in Kirkland Lake on May 6, 2025. Faye passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.
Faye is survived by her beloved son Joey Clement and his wife Alexis, her loving sister Kimberly (Howard) Garrett, and nieces Suzanne and Samantha Garrett, as well as sisters-in-law Beverly(Louis) Metson and Norma Chartrand, and many cousins, nieces and nephews of the Clement family. Faye is also survived by many cherished friends in the Kirkland Lake area and beyond.
Faye is predeceased by her husband Dale Clement, and her parents Joseph and Mary Keegan.
Faye was born in Hamilton on November 20, 1954, and in the 1970s relocated to Kirkland Lake, making this community her hometown.
Friends and family will remember Faye as an authentic, light-hearted soul who enjoyed her life to the fullest.
Faye’s family is extremely grateful to the entire 4th floor staff of the Blanche River Health Hospital in Kirkland Lake who cared for Faye with such professionalism and compassion. The family also gives heartfelt, special thanks to Faye’s close friends Dianne Jelly and Lee McMillan for their selflessness and generosity during Faye’s final days. We know it meant the world to her.
A celebration of Faye’s life will be held on Friday, May 9 at 2:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 87 in Kirkland Lake.
