GOULET, Roger
1934 - 2024
It is with profound sadness that our family announces the death of Mr Roger Francois Goulet on January 22nd, 2024. He passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Hull hospital (Gatineau) in his 90th year.
Husband of the late Loretta Moore-Goulet. Son of the late Marie-Rose l’Abbé and Louis Goulet. He is lovingly remembered by his three children: Helen (Ken), Richard (Lisa) and Susan Ann; six grandchildren Matthew (Justin), Ryan (Stéphanie), Ashley (Julian), Kayla (Danny), Alex (Adelaide), Jason (Kayleigh) and three great grandchildren: Rose, Theodore and Russell.
Roger will be remembered for living life to the fullest, for his kindness, generosity, competitiveness and playfulness.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially those that he could experience in the sun. He loved to explore, fish, sail, play games and tinker (he was the original McGyver). He shared his love for the outdoors with his family and created innumerous opportunities for fun and friendly competition with his crazy creations.
Family and friends are invited to extend their condolences between 2:30 and 3 pm on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 followed by a funeral ceremony at 3 pm at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 95 Cité des Jeunes Blvd. in Gatineau (Hull sector).
