WRIGHT, William (Bill) Ralph

1963 - 2023

The death occured suddenly at home on November 14th, 2023, of William (Bill) Ralph Wright of Englehart in his 60th year. Bill was pre-deceased by his parents William Glendon (Glen) Wright and Hazel (Fay) Wright. He is survived by his daughter Katherine Wright (Darren Robertson) of Cobalt, grandchildren William, Alex, Esmeralda, Ben, and Alainna, nephews Chris (Schantel) and Rob (Lisa) Hochheimer of Calgary and his sister Gwen Hochheimer of Middle Sackville, NS. Other very special people in his life were his step-children, Sylvia (Justin) and their son James, Brad Rohrer
(Edith) and their children Mia and Kaden, his girlfriend Sherry Fiset, her daughters Patricia, Alycia, her son Sydney her granddaughters Awna, and Kia, and her grandson Jaden. He also loved his dogs Sam and Kyra, and his cats Sarah and Lori.


Bill always wanted to be a heavy equipment operator but was a truck-driver most of his life in addition to his time as a schoolbus driver. He had a pretty good baritone voice, competing solo in the Kiwanis Music Festival and singing in the church choir as a child. He played drums in a church youth group in his teens. He loved backyard campfires, motorbikes and music, hosting Saturday night Karaoke at the Englehart Motel for a couple of years. He had a big heart and big personality.


The ‘Ride for Sight’ and 4H Clubs were his favourite charities.


A memorial service at Tomstown Church will be announced later. Interment will be at Ingram Cemetery in the Spring.
