BÉDARD PAYER, Clémence
1929 - 2025
It is with great emotion and love that we announce the death of our mother on July 24, 2025, at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late Marcel Payer and the daughter of the late Alphonsine Gélineau/Bédard and the late Adélard Bédard. She is survived by her children: Francine, Chantal, Guy, Line (Robert Deschamps) and Sylvie. Adored grandmother of Natasha, her goddaughter, Sandra and Anik Lavigne, Mathieu Corriveau, Yan and Jason Payer, Pascale, Andrée and Michelle Breton and Julie Lafrance as well as their spouses. She also leaves her 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters and 1 great-great-grandson; her 3 godchildren: Luc Charlebois, Sylvain Chagnon and Daniel Lachapelle. She is also survived by her sisters Paulette, Rosanna (André Charlebois), Claire, Gisèle (late André Chagnon) and Lucia; her brother-in-law Jean-Marie Payer (Huguette Renaud Payer) as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie-Mai (Louis McGraw) and Laurette (Léon Paul and Omer Groulx) as well as her brothers Adélard (Juliette), Jean (Berthe), Rémi (Marie) and Julien (Germaine)
A celebration of her life, in the presence of the ashes, will be held on August 14, 2025 at 1 pm at Notre-Dame-de-la-Guadeloupe Church, 30 St-Onge Street, Gatineau. The family will receive condolences starting at 12:30 pm.
For those who wish to do so, donations to an organization of your choice would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Pieta and especially the employees on the 5th floor for the good care provided. Your attention to our mother touched us deeply.
