BARTLETT, David

1958 - 2025

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of David Allen Bartlett, age 67, on November 8, 2025.

David was the beloved son of Daintree Bartlett and the late Ron Bartlett. He was a devoted father to Jason (Tara) Bartlett and Kevin (Nina) Bartlett, and a proud grandfather to Adelyn, Tayden, and Koen (children of Jason and Tara) and Boden and Cruden (children of Kevin and Nina).

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Paul (Patricia), Eric (Patricia), and Gord Bartlett, as well as many extended family members and friends.

David was a man of deep faith and a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, devoted to sharing the love of God with others. He was an integral part of the Matachewan Christian Fellowship Church, contributing both to the building of the church and as a joyful member of the worship team, where he sang and played guitar. His faith and music inspired all who knew him.

A gifted mechanic, David could fix, rebuild, and repair almost anything. He was known for his ingenuity, helpfulness, and generous spirit. David loved the outdoors, finding peace and renewal in nature, adventure, and untouched wilderness.

A special thank you is extended to Deneige Baird, a very dear friend who held a special place in David’s heart. She was faithfully by his side during his final months, offering care, comfort, and compassion until the very end.

David’s favorite Bible verse was Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the VON Nurses, the Ontario Health at Home staff, and Nurse Practitioner Tara Laframboise for their exceptional care, kindness, and support.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Matachewan Christian Fellowship Church, 144 Calbeck Avenue, with family and friends gathering to honor his life and faith.

David will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his faith, love, and generosity.
