It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Dilcia Nidia Recio de Medina on July 25th, 2019 at the age of 87. 

Beloved  mother of  Arelis Medina Recio and Fred Medina Recio . She leaves behind her loving grandchildren : Marco Calderon Medina, Clara Calderon Medina, Ana Maria Medina Abreu, Miguel Medina Abreu; her cherished great-granchildren : JayceeGabriel Calderon, DelyzaDream Calderon-Aviles. She also leaves her brother : Ulises Vasquez; her sister : Celis Vasquez and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Amilcar Medina .

Viewing will be held from 2 pm ot 2:30 pm on Saturday the 31st of August 2019 at Segrada Familia's Church in Ottawa, located on  152 Glenora St. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm
