It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacques Laplante. Passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

He leaves to mourn his beloved spouce Mary Fuchs, his children: Louise, Suzanne, Denis (Debbie), Alain (Micheline), Carole (Donald) and Gilles (Linda), son-in-law Brian (Andrea) and daughter-in-law Kelly (Peter). He also leaves behind his 11 grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life (his funeral) will be held at Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, at 95, Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday June 7^th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 a.m.

The family wishes to thank the Centre d’hébergement d’Aylmer (CHSLD Renaissance) staff for their good care, their support and compassion to the family.
