It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of

Mr. Jean-Marc Crispin on April 14, 2025, at the age of 68. He was the husband of France Lafond and the son of the late Marcel Crispin and Denise Charron.

 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Nathalie (Rock Lecomte); his grandchildren : Maïka, Jade and Kali. He also leaves his brother Pierre (Hélène Serrurier), sister Joanne (Bobby Bélair) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boul. W. in Gatineau (Pavillon La Vérendrye). The family will receive condolences at 1 p.m. The ceremony can be viewed live or replayed via the following link: https://fweb.tv/179889

On behalf of myself and all of us at Mattamy Homes, please accept our deepest condolences for your loss.

Jean-Marc was truly one of a kind. A constant presence on site, he brought not only his incredible skill and experience, but a spirit and energy that made him unforgettable. He always had a smile—even when he was "grumpy" (and he was “grumpy” a lot!). But that was just part of his charm, part of what made Jean-Marc, Jean-Marc. Underneath that tough exterior was a kind, humble, and deeply genuine man who always made time to share his knowledge and guide others with patience and care.

He was the backbone of the Reg Drywall team and a steady mentor to so many of us on site. His character, his laughter, his stories, and his soul will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Wishing you strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time.
