LYNCH, Louise

2025

We are saddened to announce the passing of Louise Lynch on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Reunited with her loving parents Vincent and Lucille (Chénier) Lynch.

Beloved sister to Richard (Marianne) of Nanaimo BC, Paul (Dolores) of Kirkland Lake, Peter (pre deceased), Norman (Carole) of Sudbury. Dear Aunt to Nicole (Mark) of Victoria BC, Katherine of Nanaimo BC, Angela (Matt) of Nanaimo BC, Keven (predeceased), Trina (Dave) of Burlington, Ryan (Melissa) of Sudbury, Kyle of Sudbury. Cherished great aunt to Riley and Josh and many other great nieces and nephews. Special friend to Lori Kattari and Pauline Henri.

Louise was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the life of the party who loved to laugh and listen to music. Her caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone she met. She had a special gift of not only seeing the good in people but also bringing out the best in them. Lou would always be the first person to lend a helping hand without being asked. She had a special place in her heart for all the fur babies she had over the years and took special care of each one of them. Louise always loved gardening and after her retirement took great pride in nurturing her plants and flowers. She created a beautiful oasis for herself in the backyard and lovingly welcomed her family and friends to enjoy the fruits of her labor.

Louise was kind and passionate and made an impact on many lives - from the ball field to the golf course, the YMCA, and of course her co-workers at Revenue Canada. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with friends and family. She truly loved each of them and if you knew her, you knew it. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Louise's Family and Friends

I am heartbroken. Many years ago, when I started working at CRA, I came into the division not knowing a single thing about the work. Louise was one of the workers that took me under her wing and taught me everything she knew. She told me I could go to her anytime for help. The team often went out for social events, and at the first one I attended, knowing that I didn't really know the others, Louise asked me to be her shuffleboard partner (I think we won). She was a great co-worker and friend.

Louise's family & friends

I have so many fond memories of working with Louise. She had the best sense of humour, and she was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Although I haven't spoken to her since she retired (aside from Facebook messages), I can still hear her soft and gentle voice in my mind. Rest in peace Lou.
