Bryan, Matilda

BRYAN, Matilda

1930 - 2020

Passed peacefully on Monday morning in the Magog hospital at the age of 89. Tillie is survived by her five children: Laura, Alton, Brian(deceased), Penny, Glenn, and their spouses, as well as her grand and great-grandchildren. Those who knew her can attest that she was loving and wise, the purest embodiment of kindness, and above all true to herself, genuine.

Visitation will be held at CASS Funeral Home in Ayer's Cliff (900 Rue Clough, Ayer's Cliff, QC) on Sunday, February 9th from 12 pm - 3 pm followed by a private family ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CAB Rediker Stanstead, Beulah United Church Ayer's Cliff, (two passions which were close to her heart) or a charitable organization of choice.

A wonderful woman. Don't know how she put up with those boys and their yahoo friends all those teen years. Last saw Tillie at the Ayer's Cliff (Stanstead County) Fair about 10 years ago. Told her she had not changed in 30 years and she looked at me with that beautiful smile she always seemed to wear and said "Bobby Fisher. You're still a good liar!" Thing was, those words were the truth. She didn't seem to age.
Could never find anything but wonderful words for her.
My deepest sympathies to you all. Every person in the world should be fortunate enough to have a Tillie Dezan cross their paths. They will be better people for it.
