EVERSON (NÉE HAY), Ruby

Ruby McLaughlin Everson (Hay), 67, of Larder Lake, ON passed away on September 5, 2025.

Ruby was a devoted worker who took pride in everything she did. Blessed with the gift of conversation, she had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, as though they had been friends forever. Her home was always open, with a pot of coffee ready and a warm smile waiting. Ruby’s kindess, humour, and love will be cherished and deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her partner, Richard Jones; her sons Tim Everson (Tanya), and Mike Everson (Maggie); and her beloved grandchildren Cheyl, Chelsea, Chantel and Ellie. She is also survived by her siblings James (Susan), Carol (Stephen), Patrick (Koren), and June. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Helen Hay.

Ruby will be missed by all her nieces and nephews as well as her great nieces and nephew.

In accordance with Ruby’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

If desired, donations in Ruby’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
